Direct marketing specialist expands into ecommerce

26 Sep 2012: Nova Direct, the West Sussex direct marketing business, is expanding into the e-commerce solutions market. Historically, the company’s core business has been printing and distributing marketing materials to consumers and business databases and it will continue to offer these services, particularly in the retail and travel industries where it has extensive experience.

Led by MD Andy Fry, Nova direct says it has developed a concept designed to provide stock storage and distribution support for companies of all sizes. From their 30,000 sq foot warehouse in West Sussex, the business will use its experience and facilities to support other firms in their efforts to achieve their own expansion plans. The flexible storage space will allow clients to utilise increased volume to meet seasonal demands, for example.

Nova Direct’s solutions will include order processing, pick and pack, fulfilment of single orders, consignments or pallets, database management, marketing support and direct mail.

Fry commented: “E-commerce is growing at such a phenomenal rate and is estimated to increase by 2,000% over the next 10 years as more and more people shop online. However, I know from my own experience that expansion can be limited by available capacity. Our services will remove the need for significant capital outlay on premises and staff which will allow companies to expand with limited up-front investment.”

Nova Direct Mail will launch the new e-commerce solutions side of the business at the E-Commerce Expo in London at Earls Court on October 2nd and 3rd.
