eCircle launches email campaign to keep London moving during Olympics
7 Aug 2012: eCircle, Europe’s biggest supplier of online marketing services, has partnered with Transport for London (TfL), to launch a highly targeted email campaign design to keep London moving during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The emails, which have been specially designed to display on all portable mobile devices, will be sent out daily to both Oyster card holders and congestion fee payers and provide customers with relevant regular updates about how the Games may affect their journey. Users will be sent information about their most frequented stations as well as details of particular events which may complicate their regular travel plans.
In order to provide a consistent flow of information, eCircle have developed a predominantly text based email solution to ensure fast loading times, so users can gain access to important information quickly and effortlessly when on the move, especially through one of the 41 WiFi enabled London Underground stations. Users can also share the email content directly with friends via Facebook and Twitter.
Simon Bowker, Managing Director, eCircle UK added: “Relevant information which is targeted at customers is the key to this campaign. Our innovative email technology, expertise and experience means we have created a delivery system which will send two bespoke, mobile compatible, fast-loading emails each day to Oyster card users and congestion fee payers so they can get a head of the Games”.
