greenstone data solutions completes acquisition of TCP
18 Oct 2012: greenstone data solutions has confirmed to Database Marketing magazine that it has now completed its full integration with TCP Marketing Solutions following its acquisition of this business. The TCP Marketing Solutions name now becomes part of greenstone data solutions although the Calculus brand of related software solutions will be retained. The Calculus suite recently picked up the Innovation in Database Marketing Software Award at this year's Database Marketing Awards.
TCP Managing Partner Julian Berry will stay on following the acquisition and has accepted the role of Director of Calculus & Insight Solutions within greenstone. All of TCP's personnel have also decided to stay within the greenstone business following the integration.
As well as developing and distributing the suite of Calculus software products, which currently comprise Contact Calculus, Budget Calculus and Campaign Calculus, Julian Berry and his team have developed a strong insight and professional services offering, helping organisations across a wide range of market sectors achieve improved return from their marketing investments. These services also continue uninterrupted following the integration.
greenstones new Calculus & Insight Solutions team will now benefit from direct access to greenstones technology, skills and resources, which will enable rapid software product development and enhancement and provide a centrally managed, ISO27001 compliant secure environment for software hosting and the provision of remote access for clients.
While keeping their Head Office in Maidstone, Kent, greenstone have also retained TCPs offices in London which will now provide a London base for the wider greenstone business.
Jon Hinkley, greenstones Managing Director, commented: "The acquisition of TCP Marketing Solutions is a key strategic step in the continued growth of greenstone and we are already receiving some very positive feedback from existing clients of both businesses who are already benefitting from the combined offering, but now under the single greenstone name".
Julian Berry added: We have worked more and more closely with Jon and the greenstone team over the last three years and this final move represents the logical culmination of that relationship. For existing TCPMS clients, it means that they are dealing with a stronger trading entity, bringing more resources and a wider range of complimentary services, whilst continuing to deal on a day-to-day basis with the same people and continuing to benefit from the same award-winning software and marketing insight solutions".
