Silverpop hits 40% new business growth in first half of 2012
30 Aug 2012: Digital marketing technology provider Silverpop has announced significant, year-on-year new business growth in the first half of 2012. The company experienced a 40% increase in closed new business and more than doubled its new professional services contracts compared to the first half of 2011, meaning the company now powers the marketing campaigns of more than 5,000 brands.
“Our impressive growth confirms that more marketers are realising that focusing on customer behaviour and automating highly personalised digital marketing efforts can reap tremendous benefits,” said Bill Nussey, CEO of Silverpop. “Silverpop’s customer base not only continues to grow in number, but in sophistication as well. While we help marketing departments of various sizes and from a wide range of industries, one thing that nearly all of them have in common is the desire to engage with their customers in very individualised ways. They also realise that to deliver these authentic and personal experiences they must automate their efforts. We look forward to continuing to help marketers create rewarding relationships while increasing revenue at the same time.”
A Forrester Consulting study commissioned by Silverpop in the first half of 2012 indicated that 8 of 10 marketers surveyed feel that marketing automation will increase the efficiency of their marketing processes and more than half plan to increase their number of automated campaigns over the next 12 months. Silverpop is seeing this adoption first hand, with 75% of Silverpop’s top 50 customers now using advanced features—such as Programs, Dynamic Content, and Relational Tables.
In the first half of 2012, Silverpop significantly enhanced its offerings for marketers who use Microsoft Dynamics CRM through the acquisition of CoreMotives, a marketing automation solution that operates completely within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
