Tag management specialist Tealium achieves record sales quarter
10 Oct 2012: Tealium, the enterprise tag management systems specialist, has completed record sales quarter, achieving unprecedented growth in revenue and bookings during the third quarter, while adding some of the biggest brands in the world to its global roster of enterprise clients. Tealium's vendor-neutral solution allows organisations to add, modify and remove digital marketing page tags through a single line of code.
During the third quarter ending 30th September, the company recorded a 497% increase in revenue and a 433% increase in bookings compared to the same period last year. Dozens of major brands were added to the client list in that time, including Sony Online Entertainment, Perry Ellis, EA, Yankee Candle, T-Systems (a subdivision of Deutsche Telekom) and Broadcasting Board of Governors (Voice of America). Earlier this month, Tealium was also selected by Carnival Cruise Lines, giving the company more than 130+ clients on five different continents.
Additional third quarter highlights include:
- 92% competitive win rate
- $10.5M in Series B funding from Battery Ventures, the venture capital firm.
- Launched Digital Velocity, the industry’s largest tag management user conference, scheduled for 23rd-25th January and exclusively for Tealium customers and strategic partners
- Recognised as a “highly innovative” vendor in Forrester Research’s recent report, “Understanding Tag Management Tools & Technology.”
- Increasing the number of employees by more than 150% worldwide, adding strength to account management, development, sales and marketing
